David G. Noyce
1925-2002
David Getty Noyce, 77, of Wheatland died May 1 at United Medical Center-West in Cheyenne.
He was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Denver.
He graduated from Wheatland High School in 1943.
Mr. Noyce served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1952.
Later, he returned to Wheatland and began his own construction business.
He was a past member and master of the Wheatland Masonic Lodge No. 16 A.M. and F.M. and a member of First Christian Church.
Mr. Noyce is survived by his wife, Margie Pauline "Polly" Gray, whom he married May 28, 1950, in Wheatland; a son, David Glen Noyce of Glendo; brother, Robert Noyce of Wheatland; sister, Esther Haburn of Salem, Ore.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Charles and Minnie Eula (Green) Noyce; son, Dennis Noyce; an infant sister, Nancy Caroline Noyce; and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Wheatland with Ministers Andy Gudahl and John Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Wheatland Cemetery and military honors will be conducted by the Wyoming Air National Guard Flag Heritage Team of Cheyenne.
Family and friends may call at the funeral chapel from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today.
