Melba B. Noyer
Melba B. Noyer, 84, of Carpenter died Feb. 22 in Cheyenne.
She was born April 11, 1917, in Pineville, Mo.
Mrs. Noyer was a homemaker and a school teacher.
She was employed by schools in Carpenter and Sligo, Colo.
Mrs. Noyer is survived by her husband, Arlo Noyer, whom she married on May 20, 1944, in St. Francis, Kan.; a daughter, Jean Gibson of Cheyenne; brothers, Gene Shirk of Carterville, Mo., and Floyd Shirk of Escondido, Calif.; sisters, Claudine Crossen of Kansas City, Mo., Ollene Bruner of Williams, Ariz., Wanda George of Web City, Mo., and Janelle Lewis of Ely, Nev.; grandchildren, Amy Bennett and Susie Hayner, both of Cheyenne, Carla Coombs of Kennewick, Wash., Curtis Clifton of Billings, Mont., and Leslie Tanner of Provo, Utah.; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Noyer; a daughter, Laurel Seyler; a sister, Bette Wilks; and a grandchild, Danny Gibson.
A funeral service in tentatively set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schrader Chapel. Burial will be at Carpenter Cemetery.
