Hello all! I'm from the Spokane Nuchols clan and have just moved to Asheville, North Carolina. I will be working here with the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy for about a year. I just wanted to extend a greeting from your western relatives and I also had a question about Edith Walker, who was married to John Nuchols. I've heard that she was related to the famous Walker sisters and would like to find out if this is true. I'll be doing a lot of work in the Smoky Mountains and Roan Highlands and thought it would be great to find out some family history while I'm in the area.
