Looking for my Great Grandmothers brother
who was on the SS Hankow and stayed in
British Guyana 1883. My Great Grandmother
Louisa Nunes Gomes, stayed with her family
and arrived in Hawaii on July 13,1883.

I cannot find her Brother on the ships manifest
Im told that the the correct family name is
GOMES ROMAO.
lOUISA name appears on the ships manifest along
with her Husband Manuel,sons Joao, Manuel,Cezar
and Joe along with daughter Maria. There also
appears on the manifest a Antonio Gomes and
Antonio Gomes ROMAO, Maria Carolina his wife and
Jose their son.
Would appreciate any information.
