Not sure this is the same family but could be. There was alot of Nunleys in Tenn. and Arkansas then alot migrated to Oklahoma. My mom always said we had Cherokee in us but not really how we got it. Seems when they migrated to Oklahoma some of the men married cherokee wives. There were alot of Nunleys in Tenn. and Arkansas in fact tons of them. I believe it is Arkansas that has a town with a Nunley cemetary and alot more, so we know there was alot of nunleys, not sure how they all fit in.
