Hello: Edward Mark Nutbrown, born in Howden England in 1821 and emigrated to Canton CT, is my great-great grandfather. Would love to have any information on his parents and other ancestors in England, as well as anyone who may also be descended from him in the U.S. His wife was Jane Esther McElroy, born in Belfast Ireland. Their daughter was Sara (I have also seen it spelled Sarah) Nutbrown Allen. She is listed as being born in Springfield MA, but spent most of her life in Collinsville/Canton CT. I have no information on Sara's siblings, if any. She was my great-grandmother and I knew her for some years as a child; she was 95 or 96 when she died.

Seeking info on James Nuttbrown of Ontario and Detroit

Seeking information on the following family:

James NUTTBROWN was born about 1855 (in Eastern? Canada)

James immigrated in 1902. He was counted in a census in 1910 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.

James married Catherine Julia JAMES daughter of Charles H JAMES and Sophia BICUM. Catherine was born on 15 Jun 1864 in Hariwch, Kent, Ontario. She died on 29 Jan 1946 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.

They had the following children:
2 F i. Louise NUTTBROWN .
3 F ii. Sophie NUTTBROWN .
4 M iii. William J NUTTBROWN was born about 1886 in Ontario.
5 M iv. Stewart M NUTTBROWN was born about 1890 in Ontario.
6 M v. Joseph NUTTBROWN .
7 F vi. Laura B NUTTBROWN was born about 1898 in Ontario.

Any information on this family, especially descendants, is appreciated.

I am not the person who you are seeking but I am a descendant of Sidney Jabez Nutbrown and I wondered if you had more information about him. His father (Jabez Nutbrown)didn't die until March 1956 and my father (still living) remembers him fondly.

Seeking the daughter of Sidney Albert Nutbrown, who was the son of Sidney Jabez and Kathleen mary Nutbrown (formerly Nelson nee Clarke) Sidney jabez and kathleen Mary went to Vancouver on a £5 package in the late 1930's from England.. I know SIDNEY ALBERT DIED New Years eve 1976 aged 42, but he had a daughter. (name unknown)
who is my cousin. My father William Thomas Nelson is the half brother of the late Sidney Albert Nutbrown. Any information would be most welcome, we have been searching for her for many many years.
