I recently bought an old book about the early families of New Hampshire and it contained a number of loose pages, hand-written, detailing the geneaologies of various families. One of the pieces of paper says this:
1. Benjamin Nye wife Katherine Tupper
2. Jonathan wife Hannah --------, Patience Burgess
3. Benjamin wife Lydia Freeman, Rachel --------
4. Jabez wife Molly Fuller, Temperance Crocker
5. William wife Lucy Doty
6. Hannah husband Benjamin Hathaway
Rebecca Hathaway married Isaac H. Eddy.
Nathan Nye 5th generation served in Revolutionary War as Adjutant in Colonel Freeman's regiment.
There are page number references to each of these entires, but these names do not appear on the pages with these numbers in the book I bought.
The author(s) of the hand-written pages seem to be from the Adams family descending from William Hinckley Nye Adams and his wife Sarah Florence Cook.
There is a photo of the old Cook-Adams residence in Campton, N. H. dated 1887 among the loose materials in the book. The people shown in the photo are named Helen Adams, Marion Adams, Grandma Adams with Ida Adams (baby), Grandma Cook and Louise Powe.
Anyone interested in these materials should contact me.
