My wife confirms that John Edwin Nyland was her mother's brother. Anna Nyland married Seward Tunnicliff, and they had two daughters, Eleanor, and Norma. Anna Tunnicliff died in June 1962. She had cousins in Morris Run,PA. and her confirmation was at the Lutheran Church at Morris Run. She received a Swedish Bible (contents are entirely in Swedish). My wife has her bible, but there are no Vital statistics contained.
Norma and I, and our youngest daughter went to Sweden and Finland in September 1984. We found the records at the church at Korsholm/Mustasaari. We found many records of the Paro family, and the church clerk told us that Norma had relatives living there, so she called them by phone. Ludwig Wiklund picked us up and took us to the farm that his ancestors had built. They called all the relatives they could and they came to meet us.We were only in Vaasa three days but we found a lot of information on the Paro family.
There are twins in the Tunnicliff family, butwe are not aware of any twins in the Nyland family.
