There is a possibility that there is a connection. John Oakleaf was my grandmothers brother. He owned Cohen/Oakleaf Dry Good store in Titusville, Pa. He lived until 102. He was a fine gentleman about town with always top hat, walking cane and coat. I am waiting for information from his Granddaughter who lives up in Maryland now. I have to see if there were any other brothers. There were 4 sisters, called the Graces of Titusville. Olean was a popular place for Uncle John to go as well as my father.I know I saw someplace that there were lots of Eichenlaub's (Oakleaf) in the Butler, Pa. area but I could not get any response by mail from them. The Butler newspaper showed a cemetery full of Eichenlaubs ! Keep in touch. Jan.Kolk@mciworld.com
