Dear Jennifer,
My great-grandfather was Laurence Dashnau, brother of Sidney G. Dashnau. Don is my great uncle. Laurence & Sidney's father was Joseph and mother Addie Beyette. The Beyette line is known going back to France. The Dashnau line we can only go back one more generation to Francis Dashnau born 1827 in Canada and Emilie Pelletier born 1828 in NY.

I know this is unrelated to the Obie post (at least directly unrelated), but I saw the name Don Dashnau, and figured you might be the person I was told to contact.

My name is Jennifer Dashnau, grandaughter of Sidney I. Dashnau. I was talking to my grandfather about trying to trace back lineage and he said to find and contact a Donald Dashnau of the VT or NH area. Said that he owned an antique shop and had already made advances in tracing the Dashnau name back to origins in France.

If this is you, could you please contact me. I would love to talk to you.

Well wishes,
Jen
