Classification: Query
Surnames: Bryant, O'Brien, Rankin, Winchester, Potter, Smith, etc. in Nova Scotia
I am trying to trace the ancestors and descendants of Edward & Rebecca (Rankin) Bryant. They arrived in Nova Scotia from Ulster, Ireland about 1785.
On records the name was spelled many different ways, so it is sometimes difficult to discern their descendants. The only way I know is to rule out or rule in persons.
I have collected some info on O'Brien, etc. names in Nova Scotia. There is a strong possibly that other O'Brien and Rankin families joined them in NS and are related to them.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks Josephine
