I am researching my family history and was wondering if anyone knew of Ockendens immigrating to New Zealand. A Maria Hatton ex Birmingham, landing in Lyttelton in 1863 when she was 23, married a Walter Ockenden and went on to have 6 children(2 Boys, 4 Girls). I know of a Lilian Violet Winifred (Married a Livingston), Richard Jury Hatton (Married a Stephenson), Rosina Maria Elizabeth ( Married a Gannaway) and an Eva Emily Georgina. If anyone knows of Walter Ockendens parents or any other family member would be so helpful. Thanks.
