The family story says that her father would only let them marry if he changed his name to Barrett.<br><br>I am descended from their son Charles Barrett who was born in Bradford, Yorkshire in about 1833.<br><br>I have Charles in the 1861 and I have his marriage certificate but have no more information on him!
