Hello, Oehler Folks!

This fellow is indexed as O Ehler, as is Ambrose Oehler, a few lines down from Sylvester, in the Green Twp, Hamilton County Ohio 1840 census. Both were born in Germany.

I'm a direct descendant of Ambrose. I wonder if anybody on this list knows what became of Sylvester. He appears again in 1850 with a Mary of the appropriate age to be his wife. Who knows? And an older woman, Kathrine Stocke or Stucher, also born in Germany-- perhaps Mary's mother?

I'd like to find someone working on Sylvester, since I'm not able to take my Ambrose back farther than Hamilton County Ohio, 1840.
