      <title>Christine Johanne Oetinger</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.oetinger/2/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I am searching for my great great grandmother's history. She was born in Furfeld, Germany/Bad Rappenau area. Her birthdate is Jan. 25, 1842. She emigrated with one brother, Johann Georg Franz Oettinger, to the USA/New Orleans on December 17, 1857 on the ship, Emily A. Hall. She was 16 years old. He was 18 years old. Her brother was born Dec. 7, 1839. She also had one sister that I know of, Babette Johanna Oettinger born in 1852 that emigrated too. I am hitting a brick wall here. I would love to have a copy of Christine's ship's passenger list. And I want to know her parents' names and any other siblings in Furfeld. Christine married Julius Conrad Christian Loeffler and they had many children including my great grandmother, Wilhelmina Henrietta Loeffler (Eitzen) in New Orleans Parish. Both Christine and Babette are buried in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans. Can anyone help me with this? I am stuck.</description>
