Dornick is an small village in Germany belonging to the city named Emmerich at the river Rhein. I am comming out of this village and in a book about the origin of this village there was written that the name Dornick descend from Thornecke, Turm in german, Tower in english. The writer of this book said that Thornecke is an very old name (from the romans)and in the 20th century it is Turm. So the writer said that in our village had stood an tower from the romans where they had an overview about the area.
