I am interested in John Ogilvie born 1860 to Euphemia Hunter of Kirkton, Tealing. On 4 November 1860 at the Tealing Free Church Kirk Session, Alexander Ogilvie admitted paternity of Euphemia's child. This is the same Alexander who was married to Isabella Ogilvie. John Ogilvie was raised by his grandfather, John Hunter as both Euphemia and Alexander died when John was quite young. I am trying to find out if John had anything to do with his Ogilvie half-siblings, especially when he migrated to Australia in 1889. There are many interesting things about John Ogilvie, including that he went to Edinburgh University. I am also trying to find out who sponsored him.

Hope someone out there can help.
