Looking to connect with anyone researching Ohnmachts in Berks County, PA. I'm a descendant of Maria Ohnmacht, wife of Henry Huyett through their daughter Sarah. Maria is buried at Schwarzwald Church.

I found out that Winifred Ohnmacht was my dad's aunt, but I'm not sure how or if it was his aunt or great-aunt. I will know more tommorrow. Nancy Le

Ron, here is the info. Maybe you can help me. I'm trying to confirm that the burial site is in New York, as I think it is. However, there's a very small chance it is in New Jersey.

These are all on the same tombstone:
Winifred Ohnmacht died May 30, 1946
Thomas J. Conroy died Nov. 6, 1943
Winifred Conroy died Oct. 8, 1935
Mary Conroy died Dec., 1906 (?)
Edwin C. Nichols, Jr. (it says Jr., but he was really the III) died March 29, 1966
(the Edwin C. Nichols was my uncle; he committed suicide, therefore he was buried with these people in an available plot; I suspect my grandmother had to ask the family to help; her name was Agnes Marie Conroy Nichols, and I don't even think she is buried in the same place.)

Thank you for replying. I tried to email you, but my email is very slow, and, it was down for four months this summer while they transitioned. But hey, it's free.

Re: Winifred Ohnmacht, I found out on her tombstone it says also, buried in the same place, Winifred Conroy, Thomas J. Conroy, Mary Conroy, Edwin C. Nichols (that was my uncle who died before I was born). I will get the exact dates for you (there at my work) but they were between 1906 and 1946.

Hi. Currently, there are 278 Ohnmacht's in Germany, most of them in the Baden area. Out of 70 million people in Germany, one would think, and be fairly certain, that they have a common line. Would be interested in exchanging any information.

Hello! This is exciting. All I know is that this person was in the family. Her name is on a tombstone with other members of my family. My grandmother's maiden name was Conroy. I don't even know if she had sisters. She died when I was so young. I know she got off the boat from Ireland with her parents. My dad was her son. Her name was Agnes. Are they sisters?
