NEWLY DISCOVERED OLDFIELD RELIES :) (CANADA)

Today, thanks to Ancestry, I broadened my family tree by discovering new relatives.

SAMUEL ERNEST NORTHCOTT OLDFIELD, son of WILLIAM ERNEST OLDFIELD and EMILY CATHERINE OLDFIELD nee NORTHCOTT of 98 Lyndhurst Road, Peckham SE15 emigrated to Canada.

As far as I was aware his first wife was named Belle, he had a son named Bill and a son named Donald from a second wife, Margie.

Today I find on UK incoming passenger lists and Canadian incoming passenger lists, that by 1929 SAMUEL ERNEST NORTHCOTT OLDFIELD was a Canadian citizen, with a Canadian wife born in Quebec, ROSE Belle OLDFIELD, known as Belle. They arrived in Plymouth on the Ausonia (Cunard) 29 Sept 1929 with children REGINALD JAMES OLDFIELD Canadian b. Lethbridge (Alberta ?), DOROTHY EDNA OLDFIELD Canadian b Quebec and WILLIAM NORTHCOTT OLDFIELD Canadian b Quebec.

On 25 May 1930 the family arrives in Montreal on the Calgaric from Southampton, same names as before plus ISABEL AMY OLDFIELD Canadian 4 months old b London, England.

Anyone have these people in their trees ? The family lived in Quebec and might have lived elsewhere. Sam was a mechanic.

Thank you for reading :)
