Sorry, I accidentally listed some mistakes. Kitura was born to Ketrera Knowles, and also had a brother, I think, James. She is listed on the 1870 census as Anna and in the 1910 census as Annie. Her maiden was Knowles, she was married to a G. A. Oller, and they had a daughter, Margaret Frances Oller, born in 1883.

Kitura Oller - Knowles Standifer

My gg gpa married Kitura Anne Oller-Knowles in 1888 in Hunt Co, TX. His name was Calvin Jasper Standifer. Since the only documentation I can find of her is their marriage certificate, I don't know much about her. I don't know if her maiden is Oller or Knowles. I'm thinking she probably was married to an Oller of Knowles before marrying Calvin. Her birth date is July 27, 1848 and I know she died in Wellington, Collingsworth Co., TX. I'm looking for her parents. A long time ago, someone had her hooked up with James Bellah Knowles, as being her father. But, with some research, I've found that the James Bellah I've seen anywhere would have been 15 when she was born, which I find unlikely. I have also seen someone on the KNOWLES website that there were two James Bellahs and nothing is known about the other one who is not related to their lineage. I think maybe she could have been married to this one? Can someone please help?

Maud Wells Oller

Hello Everyone,
I have just discovered today that my g grandmother married somebody named Oller after my g grandfather died.
My great grandmother is Maude Wells. She was born 06 Oct 1899 and died 25 Dec 1982. Sometime in 1921, she married my great grandfather, William Hightower. William Hightower happens to be a brick wall for me. I think he may have lived a double life. After he died in 1945, she married again to Mr. Oller. I have not found him yet.
Maude’s father is Pleasant W. Wells (16 Jul 1875 – 1954). His father is John Israel Wells (b. Abt. 1843) and finally, my 4th great grandfather is Hilary Wells (b. Abt. 1808).
If anyone knows of my g grandmother, I would love to hear from you!
Thank you!
Brian Hightower
I just came across your post. I don't know if you've found information yet. But Robert Oller was my grandfather's brother. I have a lineage back a couple of generations. I have some information on Belva, but probably not more than you have. Robert and Belva had 8 children: Perry, Alfred, Clyde Curtis, Clarence, Wanda, Norma Louise, Doris Pauline, and Roberta Lee. Robert is the son of George S. and Sarah Elizabeth CARMAN OLLER. Belva is the daughter of Daniel and Eliza Emaline ISHMAL STONE. If I can help with any other information, please let me know.

Certainly. I'll tell you what I know (I wasn't raised by either of my parents, but rather a maternal aunt). My Dad's mother was Irene. I will have to ask my dad what his father's name was. My dad was born April 24, 1939 and his full name is Kenneth Ray Oller. He had many siblings, but I believe the only surviving sibling is a brother in Lansing, Michigan named Dave.

My dad remarried in the mid 1960's. His wife's name was Katherine (Kathy), but I will have to ask him for her maiden name. Kathy passed away in 1991. They had a daughter, Kimberly, born February 29, 1968 (yes, leap year day.) Kim is married to Christopher Bauer and they have two daughters, Katherine and Jessica.

My dad married for the third time in 1996 to Theresa Lane (I don't know her maiden name, that was a married name) and became step-father to her two daughters.

I hope this helps.

This is to "set the record straight on the Peter Oller's". The Peter Aller who married Elizabeth Kaes/Case is NOT the father of Peter Oller born 1749 died 1823 in Virginia, whose children went to Delaware County Ohio.

The court and land records in Frederick County VA. prove this.
Peter Oller's (born 1749)father lived until AFTER 1793-1796.

Yes we are talking about the same people. The questions my Aunt and I have are concerning Peter Oller b: 1716. In ancestry they have him listed as a child of Abraham La rue and Sybil Lambert, born in 1716 and died in 1778.

The only documentation my Aunt has is that he was born about 1720 and died after 1773. Would be very interested in any census or other or other documentation you have on this Peter Oller, and who were his parent. If he is our immigrant then maybe my Aunt would be content to stop there but she still wonders about who was Telefas.

I am researching Oller family. Can reach back to Peter Oller (Aller) born 1716 married to Anna Kaes. His son Peter Oller born 1749 married to Catherine Weishans. He is listed as son of Abraham LaRue and Sibyl Lambert. Cannot figure this out. Possibly a step-son. Does anyone know??

Thank you.

Hi I don't know if you still use this site, but just a shot in the dark. My aunt is Nancy Gruen (Garwood) she is my dad's sister. I am trying to find info on my family as I have had minimal contact with this side of the family due to my dad's disjointed relationship with them. His name is Norman. It would be great if you had any info for my sister and I. Thanks Ben
