From the Mobile. Alabama Newspaper
Saturday, Jan. 13, 1962:
• "Ellis Ollinger, a man who is always hunting a bushel basket to put over his light, must be weary of reading what a wonderful man he is. But that's the price his type of man must pay.
"Ollinger is the former high school, junior high, and what-have-you coach who has left an indelible brand on thousands of Mobilians who came within his orbit. ... Perhaps his greatest contribution was through his work with playgrounds and kids from the street, kids whom he set on the right path and sent on their way with a friendly pat on the shoulder and a stern swat elsewhere, to remind them the right was wasn't necessarily the easiest way."
Not my line, jst sharing.
