my great great grandfather (or possibly great great great grandfather) started that company when he moved
to florida after he emigrated to the US from
the Alsace Lorraine region in the 1850's. My
own grandfather tells me that that company refitted ships
as ironsides for the confederacy during the civil war.
That's about all I know about that company.
