Surnames: Omar, Lewis, Frazier
Can someone tell me about the name Omar? I have a Sallie Omar Lewis in my family tree and I'm trying to find her parents. She was born in Mississippi about 1872 and died in Nueces Co., Texas sometime after 1920. She married Frank J. Frazier in Wharton Co., Texas a little before 1897. Omar is so unusual I thought maybe it was her maiden name rather than a middle name.
