I am a direct descendent of Ada Minnie ONG, who married William STONE in 1909. Ada was the daughter of Walter ONG and Minnie Ada POULTON. This branch of my family has its origins in Thelnetham, Suffolk where Thomas ONG married Sarah NICE in 1754.

The Ongs who emigrated to America seemed to be Quakers - unless I'm mistaken. Does anyone know if my ancestors in Theltenham and thereabouts were Quakers too?
