My grandmother was Helena Regina Ommen b. Melvin Ill. Her parents were Jilde Jurgens Ommen and Helene Marie Onken b. 7-14-1881 in Germany. She died in Anchor Ill. and was buried somewhere next to her mother. I can not seem to find out what her parents names were! The only city I have a name for is Essen Germany. I never see peoples surnames from there. I have hit a major brick wall. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it a lot!
