I have the following and am hoping someone could help me with this line.
Samuel Judson Warmsley born cica 1815 in Rhode Island, son of Benjamin WALMESLEY and Sarah Reeves, married a Dolly Eaton Smith, she being born in 1835-37 in Plainfield, CT.
Dolly's mother is Sarah Hall of Rhode Island, her father is listed as Ira Smith, he is possibly of CT, East Haddam area.
Samuel Judson Warmsley and Dolly Eaton Smith married in Uxbridge, MASS about 1844/45.
They had the following children:
Josephine Warmsley (spelling has changed many times for this family, ultimately they used ONSLEY, bur birth and death indicate WARMSLEY, WAMSLEY, WALMESLEY) - she being born October 27, 1846.
Josephine married Moses Brown, the resided in Newburyport, Mass. Their children were:
Ida M. ONSLEY, born November 9, 1868
Arthur Perkins Brown, born May 4, 1873
Henry Safford Brown, born August 25, 1875
Mary Perkins Brown, born February 4, 1878
James Hooker Brown, born September 16, 1868
Louisa Warmsley/ONSLEY born 1847 Providence, Rhode Island - Louisa had one child known Benjamin Franklin ONSLEY, born 1867 in Johnston, Rhode Island..his father's name was George Angell.
She married 3 times: spouses were (1) William Anthony in 1863; (2) Charles Henry Palmer 1874; (3) Leander Bliss 1886
**No other children for these marriages has been found yet..I'm still looking for them.
Elizabeth Wamsley/ONSLEY: Elizabeth was born in Uxbridge, MASS prior to the family rremoving to Rhod Island, her birthdate according to records by the Town Clerk of Uxbridge, MASS is: February 6, 1848. Elizabeth married Augustus Neiland Gibbs, of "Apponaug" Warwick, Rhode Island, she had 3 children with Augustus, according to death records in Rhode Island, they are:
Julia Anna Gibbs, born March 27, 1879
Willie Gibbs born January 6, 1885
Elma Eddy Gibbs born November 26, 1881
