My mother's relatives may have come from Mt. Horeb - Hans Olsen (Olson) Opsal born in Norway in 1834. Emigrated to the US and married Thora Sefskogen. I think they had about 13 children. the Opsal name died out in my research when Thora's and Han's daughter Inger married John Wesley Highley. Has anyone conducted research into Norway? Never heard the story about the Indian but I don't doubt it.
