Anna M. Opsatnick
Mrs. Anna M. Opsatnick, of 615 E. Berner Ave., Hazleton, died Friday morning at St. Luke Manor, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, she resided in this community her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Biasi) Kershbaumer Sr.
Prior to retiring she was employed as a clerk in area retail stores.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society of the parish, and the Hazleton Senior citizens.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph P., to whom she was married 53 years; three sons, Joseph P., Atlanta, Ga.; Robert M., Omaha, Neb.; and Thomas, Hellertown, Pa.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Albert and Joseph Kershbaumer, both of Hazleton; sister, Mrs. Gerald (Angeline) Lapinsky, Hazleton; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Louis Kershbaumer, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the John J. Pusti Funeral Home, 480 W. Broad St., Hazleton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1o:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, followed by interment in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Linden Street entrance.
A prayer service will be held Sunday evening.
