My gg grandfather is William Oram Brown . He was born about 1860 in Havre de grace, MD or possibly inVA. ( depending on who tells the story). I do know that he lived in Havre de Grace, MD until moving to PA. Supposedly, he was orphaned and was sent to live with relatives . I believe that the relatives lived in MD . My research stops with him . I'm hoping that someone might have a person their genealogy that fits this description . I believe that it is possible that he was born William Oram and later added the surname Brown or his mother's maiden name might have been Oram. Any info would be greatly appreciated .
