This is what is being called the Cannon County Census but in fact it is a State Index. I tried this last night and was having computer trouble. The call letters at the end of the framily states where the heads of household claim the were from and it seems to a include dead spouse in Rachel's home. The nex set of letters is the county where the family lived and page numbers. The index reads as follows:

Now to help make a connection: I believe Asa was a son to Thomas of the 1820 census. Havent really studied him alot but I don't think he is one of Johns clan.
John W. 57, is my 5thgreatgrandfather. Please take notice to all of the Johns listed on this page. Age is the only way I can keep up. He is listed with wife, daughter and adopted daughter. Then there is John W. 24 listed with his wife and children. Not sure where the TUCKER falls in to play but he was from NC.Thomas J. is also the son of John W. 57. He is listed with wife, 3 children that belong to them and several teens that I don't know where the come into play. I do believe the GRIMES child is a niece from Thomas's sister in law. Rachel is John W. 57, sister in law. She was married to Joseph who died in NC and it seem Rachel moved to Tennessee to be with his family. She is listed with all her children. Alexander ORREN I believe is another brother of John W. 57, Sarah ORREN I want to say is a widow of Thomas but not sure which one. I know it was not Thomas J.
