Bertha Orckid (Orchid)

Trying to find information on my great-grandmother. I have no dates or locations yet but I do know that she was married to Wallace Thomas and they had atleast one daughter Marion. Does this tie in with anyone?

Lori, have you located any info on this name? I have seen the Orchid spelling tied into the Orchard branches. I am interested in this spelling. What general area are you looking for Bertha? There are several Orchid in Texas, Cal. areas.

Margaret Orchid

1911-2003

Margaret Orchid, 92, of Cheyenne, died Oct. 15 at Mountain Towers Healthcare Center.

She was born Sept. 30, 1911 in Streetman, Texas, and had lived here since 1992.

Mrs. Orchid was a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She is survived by a son, Dwayne Orchid of Longmont, Colo.; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Orchid in 1942; her parents,
Thomas and Ninna Jefferson and a brother, Joe Edward Burleson.

Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of
Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.

Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.
This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. Orchid.

This obit is a mistake,it should read Margaret Burleson, not Orchid.Margaret Burleson was never married to Manuel Orchid.This is my husbands Mother.
