I am looking for my connection in the Ort family. It is said that my great great grandparents originated in Pennsylvania.They were maried on 5th day of February 1854 I believe in York. I have a copy of the wedding certificate. My great grandmother maiden name is Mary Ann Ort. She married John Patterson. I know she had at least 1 sister. Her name is Emma Elizabeth Ort.She married a ? Wiles. She adopted my grandmother Emma Belle Patterson after her mothers death. I found Isabella Updegraff and husband William Ort in an 1880 Census report in Macow, Harvey, Kansas. I have not been able to find anything else.
