Looking for any information on him and or his daughter Elva Osborne who married a Julian Penrose. The family story is that John W Osborne was 1/2 to full blooded Native American. His daughter Elva (and her brothers and sisters) was quite native in appearance, but we are not positive that John Osborne was Native. John was supposed to have been born about 1875 in Illinois and shows up in Wenatchee, WA in the 1910 census. On the 1930 census for Elva (Osborne) Penrose it lists both her parents as being born in Nebraska though.

I am very interested in finding who John W Osborne's parents were if anyone else has a John Osborne born about 1875 in Illinois or Nebraska i would really like to check out your info.
