My grand father was William Oliver Oschman and was from the Pittsburgh area.

My husband's g grandmother was Annie Oschman.
Although she was listed as Amelia Oschenaw
on a typed birth record which I received. I
did find a Baptism record listing her as Annie
Oschman which is probably accurate. Annie
Oschman was married to Frederick Andell and their daughter,
Anna Elizabeth Andell was born August 4, 1886
in Ghent NY. I wondered if anyone knows more
about these Oschmans.

Georgia--- I ran across this name in my search and noticed that this was one of your lines. I found an obit for a George Oschman in MA. It tied in with a Weiderhold line that I was searching. If you are interested, I did a search on Ancestry.Com and it turned up under UMI Obits - 1990-1997.

Thanks for your reply. That obit is my Dad's.
I'd love to hear what Wiederhold line you are working on. Perhaps we can assist each other.
I've done that successfully with some other researchers on other lines. We haven't proven a connection yet. But we've helped each other a good bit.

Oschman Ancestors/Descendants

Hello,

I am interested in hearing from anyone researching the Oschman Surname.

In particular I am interested in William Oschman's family. He was probably born in Germany about 1842, and emigrated to the USA after 1850. He married Margaret Keilman in Pennsylvania about 1866. Probably Schuylkill County.

Thank you for any assistance in researching this family unit.
