Thank you for posting. That corrects what appears to be an error in the history of the family of Wm. Osgood. The book says Frank G. died young.

I checked the Ancestry online census databases. In Essex Co., MA, 1850, there were OSGOOD: Frank & Lucinda, each b. ca. 1826 {sic, both b. 1823}.

In Marblehead, Essex, MA, 1860, OSGOOD: Francis C., 36; Lucinda, 36; & Frank G., 9*.

Francis C., 56, MA MA MA, ship carpenter, & Lucinda, 56, MA MA MA
Eugene DAVENPORT, 26, NY NY MA; Richard B. MORSE, 25, MA NS NS.
