In 1616, lived "Martin de Rocquignyes" in Virelle (Begium).
One of his sons went to Spain with "Jean Curtius" to make cannons (guns) for the King of Spain.
I found :
In Lierganes (Santander, Spain), december 16, 1646, the birth of Francisco son of "Pedro ROCONI" and "Marguerita CANIVET". Pedro is born in 1617 in Virel (Belgium).
In 1650, Pedro Roconi becomes "Pedro ROQUENI".
The different spelling explains itself by the translation of Belgian names in Spaniard.
