I'm updating and adding to research that has been done my other family members. I noticed that previously all our records showed everything starting with Edward Osler (1732 - 1786) & Joan Drew (1740 - 1827) I'm very interested in the Maryland Osler connection which indicates that my Edward is also yours...but the birth dates don't match. If as your research shows, he was born in 1746 then he was only 12 when went back to England and married Joan - unlikely! Could he actually have been the child of an earlier marriage before his father went to Maryland? Also does anyone know why he went back to Falmouth....family disagreement, protect English business interests, are reasons that come to my mind.
