I am looking for additional information on Simen Larsen Broen OSTEN who was born in Hadeland, Norway 15 July 1827 and died 15 February 1896 in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. He married Kjersti Pedersdatter STADUM in Hadeland on 13 April 1858. Kjersti and Simen had three children together. He emigrated to the United States in May 1869. He initially settled in Fillmore County and eventually moved to Otter Tail County (Norwegian Grove Township) where he spent the remainder of his life.
