      <description>I have an old photograph and newspaper clipping "Howard H. Robinson entertained a select party of friends in royal style last night, at the Summit House, top of Pike's Peak, the guests viewing both sunset and surnise.  Mr. Robinson, of course, spread a generous feast to his company, among whom were Miss Jennie Jackson, of Chicago,  Ills., and Miss Otelia Osten, and Messrs. S. M. Wertz and Carl Johnson, of Colorado Springs.  The part spent an enjoyable night on the mountain.</description>

      <description>Thanks for your reply. I have had not a lot of luck tracking down my ancestors. &lt;br&gt;I have my Great X3 naturalization paper when he arrived here in New Zealand in 1872. It states that he was from Tuetz, Prussia. His wife Emma KROPKA was from Stettin. They married in Bromberg. The big question is discovering Carl Frederick Edwards family. It is highly possible his brothers/sisters stayed in Prussia or imagrated to USA. There has always been a rumour that he left Prussia for striking an officier.&lt;br&gt;I hope this helps.       <description>I am looking for information on Martin Andreas (aka Andrew Simon) OSTEN born 15 July 1867 in Hadeland, Norway. He emigrated to the USA in May 1869 arriving at Ellis Island. He then moved to Fillmore County, MN for a brief period of time and eventually relocated to Norwegian Grove township, Otter Tail County. His parents were Simen Larsen OSTEN and Kjersti PEDERSDATTER STADUM. He married Thea HOVLAND 24 November 1891. They had 10 children together. Andrew died 15 February 1956 in Otter Tail County.       <description>I am looking for additional information on Simen Larsen Broen OSTEN who was born in Hadeland, Norway 15 July 1827 and died 15 February 1896 in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.  He married Kjersti Pedersdatter STADUM in Hadeland on 13 April 1858.  Kjersti and Simen had three children together.  He emigrated to the United States in May 1869.  He initially settled in Fillmore County and eventually moved to Otter Tail County (Norwegian Grove Township) where he spent the remainder of his life.
