Looking for information for my husband who's
dad was Stanley Ostrowski husband to Theresa
Strazzullo. They lived in Long Island, New Yorkork. He had three known children Joseph,
John, JoAnn. My husband is John Charles
Ostrowski and we have 2 boys named Jonathan
Taylor Matthew Ostrowski just trying to find some family heritage to share with my
boys. Do know that Stanley Ostrowski passed
away in the early 1980's and is buried in the
New York Cemetery.

My grandfather's name was Stanley Ostrowski. I was tooo little to know him the last time he was seen by our family. He and my father are estranged. However, this Stanley was married to Mollie, and had three children . . . Richard, Robert, and a girl (who died at an early age). They were living in Wisconsin (Milwaukee I believe) when they were together. My dad refuses to talk about him . . .no one seemed to know what happened to him for the past 44 years.
Don't know that this helps but figured I'd offer it for what ever it's worth.

Is your husbands father still alive? What was
his name, his first name. I do have Ostrowski
in my family tree, a Leona Ostrowski. She had
2 children. One by the name of Dennis and the
other one is Linda. One son died, and his
name was Ronald Stanley Ostrowski

Was John's mother's name Rose-twin sister to Augustina Rintz who married August Kohnke(Konke) and Rose had also a son Bernard also Joe. Had a niece Agnes Paschke ---spouse Anthony Paschke-- Rose had her leg amputated . Would you know the name of Rose and Augustina's mother. Their father was Joseph Rintz . Augustina is my grandmother. As far as I know there was no Josephine . Rose had three sons Bernard the oldest married Lillian . Then John married Martha and Joe married Helen---Joe was my godfather, Bernard had three sons Bernard Jr. ==Leonard and I don't remember the Third sons name. John I know had a son that was in a wheel chair always and I don't remember the daughters names . I think there was a Theresa and maybe a Josephine. I know there is a Theresa laid out in Resurection cemetery near my husband . when I go tomorrow I'll check to see if there's a stone for her husband and get his name. I understand he's still living. i don't remember any of Joe's children's names. I met Theresa's brother-in-law at the cemetery but he didn't know if we were related -he said to ask her husband but I never came across him at the cemetery.

I was inquiring on a Stanley Ostrowski, because he married
someone whom I think could be related to me. Her name is Leona Madura. Leona had 2 children a boy and a girl, Dennis
& Linda Ostrowski. Have you heard of these names?

Have a correction to my last reply-- Rose (Rintz) Ostrowski had 4 sons- Bernard- Gus- John -Joe. Gus's son was in a wheel chair and he had a daughter-Theresa also Gus and Joe lived next door in the vicinity of VanDyke and Lynch Road I believe on Winfield street. Rose was sick and stayed at gus's house. She spent some time in a hospital in Ypsilante . had stomach problems ,sugar and had a leg amputated. Her grandson lives in Armada. Rose's Son Bernard was also known As Bernie or Barney

In regards to my recent reply . Rose(Rintz)Ostrowski had four sons ==Bernard-John- Gus--Joe. She was born in April 1861. She had a leg amputated because of sugar and a lot of trouble with her stomach At one time she was in a hospital in Ypsilanti and was laid up in bed at her son Gus house. I believed she died in 1954.
