I had posted Mary Oswald m Robert Spence a while back. I've found that she was the daughter of General John Oswald b 1771 d 1840, his father was James Townsend Oswald, son of The Right Honorable James Oswald b 1715 d 1869. Very distinguished family owning Dunnikier Estate & Mansion between Kirkcaldy and Dysart. I'm still trying to find Mary's mother. Evidently the General was not married to her mother since his 1st marriage is recorded as of 1812. Mary was born around 1795.
