I am seeking George Otter, tinman and brazier, b abt 1820 Nottingham. I have him on the 1861,1871,in Sneinton, Nottingham, and his death in 1878. I can't find him prior to this to discover his family/parents. in 1861 he is married to Elizabeth and has 2 small children Mathew 4 & Mary 7. However he also has a son Samuel aged 17 born abt 1844. Such a big gap might indicate an earlier marriage and death of first wife? I can't find any marriage for him to an Elizabeth. Nor can I find Samuel on the 1851.
Any suggestions anyone? I am stumped!
