My name is Mary Sidowey Gatlin. My grandfather was Chickouri Bashara Sidowey married to Odie Rose. His brother was Abraham Barshara Sidowey married to Cora.
My two older brothers and I remember the name, Marie Sidowey, all during our childhood but if we met her, we don't remember. We think she may be Aunt Cora and Uncle Abe's daughter. Uncle Abe lived in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, not far from Nashville. He had a dry good store there and died in 1934. My brothers and I just visited his grave last week and I think I remember the names of King and or Harris on the stones surrounding Uncle Abe and Aunt Cora. My oldest brother thinks Aunt Cora died in the 70's. The date is not on her stone. The cemetery is in Maury County, Tennessee if you want to check the archieves.
All of our family is gone and we have very little info. I would love to hear from you.
