Since you haven't provided your full maiden name, your parent's/grandparent's names or even where Widnes is, it is difficult to tell how you may connect to the Oultons I have in my database.
However, on my website at http://ourmaritimeties.com, I have over 16,000 descendants of Charles Oulton and Abigail Fillmore who lived ca 1750-1825 in the Chignecto Isthmus area (NB/NS border) of Canada. If you find any connection, please let me know.

Cora Elizabeth Harris was born Dec. 19, 1885, died May 26, 1972 and is buried in Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrence Co., TN. She is buried on the lot with her parents: Robert Green Harris and Lucy O'Neal King Harris.

My great grandfather (Thomas J. King) was a brother to Cora's mother: Lucy O'Neal King Harris.

As best as I know, none of my Oulton family has any connection to Ireland, let alone Co Tyrone. The earliest Oulton I have in my line is from ca 1550 in Cheshire, England. Best wishes.

Three of my Grandmother's children bore the Christian name Oulton. I've been trying to research this, so far without any luck. My Grandmother came from Pomeroy, Co Tyrone in N. Ireland and before her marriage to Thomas Meenagh her maiden name was Montgomery. Have you any Oulton connections in Co Tyrone?

My name is Mary Sidowey Gatlin. My grandfather was Chickouri Bashara Sidowey married to Odie Rose. His brother was Abraham Barshara Sidowey married to Cora.
My two older brothers and I remember the name, Marie Sidowey, all during our childhood but if we met her, we don't remember. We think she may be Aunt Cora and Uncle Abe's daughter. Uncle Abe lived in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, not far from Nashville. He had a dry good store there and died in 1934. My brothers and I just visited his grave last week and I think I remember the names of King and or Harris on the stones surrounding Uncle Abe and Aunt Cora. My oldest brother thinks Aunt Cora died in the 70's. The date is not on her stone. The cemetery is in Maury County, Tennessee if you want to check the archieves.
All of our family is gone and we have very little info. I would love to hear from you.

Yes there is a web site.... go to tripod.com and do a search on Oulton You will find geneaology research done by Arthur Owen... His grandmother (I do believe) was an Oulton... Also there is a family reunion this year in July... info on that there as well.

Thanks you for the corrections for your mother and aunt's birth date. Obviously with Frank b. 1882 as I had it, his children could not have been born previously. I obtained this information from another cousin and either mis-typed the data or didn't notice it was wrong. I have lots of information on Frank's ancestry but would look to you to help fill in the tree on his descendants. Will contact you off list. Arthur

researching family history of frank w. oulton, b. 1-08-1882,d. 12-5-61. he was married to morgianna oliver b. 9-20-1879,d. 8-11-22. there were 3 children: eleanor ?, arnold ?, and mary frances b. 4-22-13, d. 7-18-91. (my mother!) here birthdate on arthur owen's ancestry information incorrectly dates her birth as abt 1874, and eleanor's as 1868. i have just started this search and would like any more info.

Hi, I can't help you directly with your search for your birth parents, but if your birth name was Oulton, I have one of the largest databases of Oulton descendants. Virtually every Oulton I have found have been descendants of Charles Oulton and Abigail Fillmore who were married 22 Sep 1768 in Cumberland, NS (presently the Aulac, NB area).

You are right. I returned to Kindred Konnections and removed the Oulton information from my pedigree. It was given to me in error and when I got around to checking it out, I realized someone had posted bogus information. I do know for certain that it came from a Kindred Konnections entry. Hopefully, it has been deleted by now so it won't mislead anyone else. - - Von Hamilton

Referenced man is my grandfather who was born in Moncton, NB on 2-23-1879 and died in Sacramento on 1-24-1960. We know next to nothing about him. We believe his father's name was James and that he had one sister. The sister is reported to have married an had a child but that child was raised by my grandfather's parents. Why, I do not know. My mother is the only remaining sibling of 5 children.

Franklin moved to Faulkton, South Dakota around 1905, married Gertrude Eliza Cornwell and they made several moves, all westward, and spent most of their years in Portland, Oregon and finally retired in Sacramento, CA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I was married to Ron Strudwick and had a son named SHANE PATRICK PARKES STRUDWICK, born August 24, 1967. He resides in Seattle, Wa. and is an advertizing executive. I am now married to Peter L. Richards and have an additional eight step children.

I'm searching for info on Marie Sidowey Decius. She was born in 1913 in Tennessee and died in Palo Alto, CA. in 1984. I don't know the name of her Decius husband. Marie was married previously to a Hewitt.

I research the King name and Marie's grandmother was Lucy King Harris who was a sister to my great great grandfather, William A. King. I was hoping to learn more about the King family and more about Marie's family, if I could find someone that might be descended from her.

I don't know about the Anne Cadman m William Colledge, but I'm pretty sure her parents were not Robert Cadman and Pheobe Oulton. Robert Goodwin Cadman b. ca 1870 m. 2 Feb 1892 to Phoebe Jane Oulton b. 21 Dec 1871 in Westmorland Co, New Brunswick. They did have a dau Phoebe Ann who m. Everett Edwin Alger.

Can you tell me who contributed the Oulton information to Kindred Konnections? My data on the descendants of Charles Oulton and Abigail Fillmore is available on WorldConnect at Rootsweb.
