Hi Michael,
No, I am affraid I have nothing on Catherine other then the 1850 & 1860 censuses, in both of which she was still single. I did some checking in the 1870 & 1880 censuses using Bender, just Anetta, various spellings, etc... Nothing useful came back. Sorry,
Mac-O.R.G. Yosemite

Hi: I am researching one Catherine (or Katherine) Oxenrider, born abt. September 1842 in PA. I believe her parents to be the John and Anna May Oxenrider you refer to. Catherine married a man named Bender (possibly John), who died in 1898. They had one child, Anetta (b. 1871, PA; d. 1901, CO). Do you have any information that might shed light on this?

Thanks!

I am looking for a Catherine Oxenrider born 1850-1860 or a little earlier who married a Samuel Wagner. They had a daughter Jennie who married a McGlynn who died 1-9-1913. The she remarried Clark Snyder son of Benjamin Snyder and Abby Hindershot. I am from the Mcglynn line. Though I am not sure who the McGlynn was that Jennie married. I got this information from an Application for Marriage License that I got from my cousin. It was given to her by my Great-Aunt. She found it while going thouht papers after my Great-Uncle passed away. They are all from PA. Oxenrider doesn't see to be a very common name there. My family is from Shamokin and many still live there.

Kristen Vincent
