Seeking infornation on origins of Thomas Pace, then living in Quebec, Canada, father of Solomon Pace (b.abt 1781). Marriage record of Solomon and Marie Alary, 1805, Quebec, Canada, lists Thomas Pace as Solomon's father and his mother as being deceased and resting in North Carolina. Mother's name is not readable but is similar looking to Jemima, Jerminea, jenminy. Both Solomon and Thomas are described as being "navigateurs" indicating that they might have been sailors or crewman of a ship or possibly ex-military engineers/navigators or guides. It would appear that Thomas Pace may have come from North Carolina and may have had relatives from there.
