You noted in your 1850 Census of Dist 1, Marion County, TN to young Bartemus Pack, age 13 b:1837 TN, father being Moses Silvester Pack b:1802 NC and mother being Mary Bain b:1803 NC. Moses S. Pack is the son of Thomas Pack b:1760 TN and Nancy Hannah Bain b:1768 NC and brothers of:

William Jefferson Pack b:1797 NC(my family)
Isaac Pack b:1800 TN
Johnson Pack b:1805 KY
Thomas Pack b:1806 TN
Nancy Pack b:1809
Joseph Pack b:1810 KY
Elizabeth Pack b:1820

In my research I found the connections of the Pack's, Bain's, Pelham's and Prince's to Rowan County, NC and still do today. These families removed to Franklin Co., Marion Co., and Warren Co. of Tennessee. In Grundy Co. which was part of Franklin Co's early years, there are Pelham City and Decherd City, family names the Pack family daughters married into.

There were five or six Bartemus Pack in Tennessee that are desendants of George Pack and Margaret Bartemus of Skithorn Tract, Frederick County, Maryland. Strange that no more info on George other than his Will, as to any of his siblings and parents. Like George and Margaret Pack dropped in from the heavens to pay a visit to Maryland.
