I'm chasing down Bartemus / Bartimus Pack who married Charity Colwell.
Bart was born 1837 - 1840, depending on which census you believe, and died 1875 - 1880. He lived most of his life in DeKalb County, Tennessee.
A number of peope on Roots Web World Connect have him born in Marion County, Tennessee to Moses Pack and Mary Bain.
I found Bartemus in DeKalb in 1860 and 1870. I found him in Marion in 1850. I have Charity, his wife or widow, on 1860, 1870 and 1880. I found their marriage record in DeKalb County on an on-line data base. I haven't found any source that proves the Bartemus who was with Moses and Mary in 1850 in Marion County, Tenn was the same one who marries Charity in DeKalb in 1859.
Do any of you have a source for Bart's parents?
This is what I have at the moment.
