Hi Lena,

You asked about Albert Pack and Lena Owens. I have good news and bad news for you. The bad news is that only a handful of Pack relations are interested in genealogy. The chances of one of your cousins seeing your post are small.

The good news is that complete strangers will help you. The Packs who ARE interested in genealogy are warm, witty, well-read, wise, gracious, generous and, above all, devilishly handsome. It runs in the family.

For them to help you, though, you need to put in a couple of more facts. Were Albert and Lena in Tennessee before or after the war? If so, which war? Do you know when they were born, or died, or married? Did they have any children? If so, what were their names?

If you have birth years down to a decade and the name of two children, and they were on a census from 1850 – 1930, someone may be able to track them down for you.

This is how many people named Albert Pack were in Tennessee for these census years. None of them have a wife Lena.

1 1860
3 1900
3 1910
3 1920
2 1930

Yours either got married after 1930, used middle names instead of first names or hid out behind the barn when the census enumerator came by.
