I am trying to locate my ggrandfather Alonzo Pack. He was born about 1880, we think in NC. He moved to Texas and married my gggrandmother, Flora Curry. My ggrandmother, Minnie, resulted from that union. She was born in 1899 in Texas. Lonnie left them before Minnie turned 2, and was never heard from again. Flora remarried after 7 years of waiting.
Recently, I have come across a request for the marriage license from a Mrs. Lonzo Pack, in Dallas (requested in 1943). They lived on Rutledge St, Dallas TX. She requested the marriage license for Lonzo and Flora. It appears that he left and remarried someone else. There is no one left to pass the story on anymore, so I am hoping someone might be able to connect here.
I know that he went by the name Lon, Lonnie, Alonzo, and Lonzo. He also moved to Texas with brothers or uncles: John, Arthur, and Jim.
I also know that Minnie has a 1st cousin who lived in Ft. Worth, named Arthur Pack, he would have been born around 1900-1915.
Any information would be helpful on this rascal.
Thanks,
Vic Harding
